In honor of the giving season, the Friends of the El Dorado Trail are proud to announce a new annual community outreach project, El Dorado Trail Blazin’ for Good. As concerned members of the community, they understand the work that local charities play in our area and are eager to help them succeed in this difficult time. Each year, the Friends will choose a local nonprofit organization to support during the holiday season and encourage all of you to do the same! That’s right ladies and gentlemen, Sacramento’s premier culinary competition is back and you won;t want to miss a minute of the action! Join INALLIANCE for a cooking extravaganza as six professional chefs have 45 minutes to turn five secret ingredients into culinary magic.

ASSISTIVE tECHNOLOGY eXPO & TRAINING
The Communication Technology Education Center is hosting an exposition and training in conjunction with the Supported Life Institute and InAlliance. The event is scheduled for Thursday, April 28, 2011 from 9:00am until 4:00pm at the Red Lion Hotel at Arden Village in Sacramento.
CTEC provides services in Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) to deliver personalized methods or devices to increase a person’s ability to communicate. The Expo & Training is an excellent opportunity to learn what devices are available, try low-tech, mid-tech and high-tech devices, and learn how to use devices. Consumers, family member and professionals are all encouraged to attend.

metro chamber referral round table
InAlliance is hosting a Metro Chamber of Commerce Referral Round Table on Tuesday, April 12th from 8:00-9:00 am. Metro Chamber members and local business professionals will attend to network and share business referrals. The event is free to attend and is being held at InAlliance headquarters, located at 6950 21st Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95820.

ACCESS TO CARE FAIR, rOSEVILLE, ca
InAlliance will be exhibiting at the A Touch of Understanding 6th Annual “Access to Care Fair” on Saturday, March 19th at the Bayside Church in Roseville, CA, located at 8191 Sierra College Boulevard. The event is designed to offer practical and professional resources to families and individuals who have developmental disabilities and special needs. The fair runs Saturday from 9:00am until 1:00pm and is free and open the public.
