History of INALLIANCE
Today, INALLIANCE’S service area includes Sacramento, Sutter, El Dorado, Colusa, Placer, Nevada, Yolo and Yuba counties. We provide services for 400+ consumers with a staff of 400+ through supported living supports, independent living services, community training, job training-work crews, supported employment, community job placement, transportation, consumer advisory committee and advocacy.

An INALLIANCE Supported Living Services participant at work INALLIANCE is a United Way Agency and a fully accredited agency of the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. In addition, INALLIANCE is the recipient of three outstanding performance awards from the National Industry for the Severely Handicapped, a County commendation for outstanding community services, and the Human Rights Award from the City and County of Sacramento. In 2008, INALLIANCE was recognized by the First Lady of California, Maria Shriver for over 57 years of service to the community at the INALLIANCE Employer Appreciation Reception.

A group of parents seeking to enrich the lives of their children with developmental disabilities founded INALLIANCE as a day program
1980
A sheltered workshop was established
1982
The sheltered workshop had grown from 70 participants to 200
1984
INALLIANCE transitioned to a Supported Employment program, placing more than 200 consumers in integrated employment sites
1993
INALLIANCE began Supported Living Services
1995
Began serving consumers in El Dorado County
2006
Began serving consumers in Sutter Buttes Region
2009
Opened a new office in Placerville
